This is an important painting to me personally. In 2008 my arm was broken, the same one I create all this work with.
Without going into detail how. I was scared, I had no insurance , so instead of a cast on my arm had to heel using a splint the ER gave me temporarily. I have a friend in the medical field that helped me rap it up at least a little better.I broke both arms prior in my life but at the ages of 6 & 7 so they heeled well. I was 30 when this took place a little different…..doing my own physical therapy in my friends garage with weights. Stretching my tendons and forcing my wrist to bend without a doctors advice or physical therapist to help I was nervous of my strengthening and heeling of my arm. This painting was the first one done after 16 weeks of heeling.
